Steve proposed on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Westin in Savannah, Ga. After going out to dinner with the family, Steve left the restaurant early to drop stuff off back at the hotel room. After faking a "stomach ache" Kacie agreed to head across the Savannah River without Steve. After arriving at the Westin, Kacie walked around the corner only to see Steve walking out in a tux to propose!
