About Us

Steve and Kacie are both graduates from Georgia Southern University. Steve is Second Lieutenant in the United States Army and is currently stationed at Fort Stewart. Kacie is the new Private Events Director at First City Club in Savannah, GA. Steve and Kacie plan to move to Savannah from Statesboro this summer.

How We Met

Steve and Kacie met through their best friend Matt Penn. Steve was over at Matt's apartment studying math when Kacie came over to cook for a weekly group dinner. Steve noticed Kacie and asked Matt about her. The next week, Steve had some people over at his house and Kacie came with Matt. Steve actually asked Kacie to dance 3 times that night and she turned him down (only because no one else was dancing). The next night Steve volunteered to cook the weekly dinner at his house. Kacie arrived with a movie for the group, but somehow after dinner, everyone else had "something" to do, leaving Kacie and Steve to watch the movie. After the movie, as Steve walked Kacie out to her car, he asked her out on a date. Their first date was the next night and have been dating ever since.
